Dovetail Royalty Partners buys mineral and royalty interests across the Anadarko Basin and the Bakken. There are more owners ready to talk than the team can get to, so Dovetail is adding seats. Both roles are contract, work from home, and paid a day rate based on experience.

Closer, Mineral and Royalty Acquisitions

Contract, part time or full time. Works from home, with some field days.

Dovetail Royalty Partners buys mineral and royalty interests. A phone buyer makes first contact with owners. The closer takes it from there: when an owner is ready to talk price, the closer gets to a stated price, sends the written offer, negotiates the purchase agreement to signature, and follows the deal through title review and funding.

For the right hire, the seat starts on par with the buyer seats and can grow above them.

What it takes

  • 3 or more years in mineral or royalty acquisitions.
  • Purchases you personally took to a signed purchase agreement (not only leases).
  • Comfortable with net mineral acre, net royalty acre and decimal interest math, and with basic title.
  • Anadarko Basin or Bakken experience preferred.
  • No land company agreement or non compete that covers this work.

Mineral Buyer

Contract, full time. Works from home.

The buyer works a daily queue of researched owner leads by phone: reaching the owner, confirming what they hold, learning whether and at what price they would sell, and handing interested sellers forward with clean notes.

  • 3 or more years buying minerals or royalties, or leasing with real owner contact volume.
  • Comfortable on the phone with owners all day and steady through a lot of noes.
  • Anadarko Basin or Bakken experience preferred.
  • No land company agreement or non compete that covers this work.
